MCS is located in Milford, NY, arural school district serving 350 students in grades Pk – 12.Job Description:Under the supervision of the superintendent and in cooperation with the building principal. TheDirector of Special Education will be responsible for planning, managing, supervising,coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of special education programs and RTIservices for the district. The Director of Special Education will serve as the Chairperson for CSEand CPSE.Qualifications: Minimum of three - five years of special education experience. Extensive knowledge of Federal and State regulations pertaining to Special Education and extensive knowledge of Individual Education Program development. Valid NYS Special Education or Psychology certification preferred. Expertise in supporting students with disabilities.
