The Mayfield Central School District is seeking a motivated and passional Elementary Math Interventionist to join our dedicated team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instuction aligned with NYS Next Generation Learning Standards and work mostly with students in the 4-6 grade levels and provide support in the classroom. This is a full time, 10-month position, preferrably beginning in February 2025. Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloping individualized instruction and learning plans tailored to each student's needs.Providing small-group or one-on-one instruction using a variety of teaching methods and resources. Communicating regularly with classroom teachers to share insights and coordinate instruction.Tracking student progress and using data to inform instruction.Analyzing student work to pinpoint misconceptions and gaps in understanding. Essential Skills & QualitiesStrong content knowledge in math in all domains.Knowledge of effective instructional strategiesDifferentiated instruction: The ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of learnersAssessment and Data Analysis Skills-Able to administer and interpret assessmentsCommunication and collaboration skillsApplicants must posess an Childhood Education Certification.
