Position Description: The successful candidate is child-centered with demonstrated experience with High School level Social Studies instruction. This position includes one period of Global History and Geography II in addition to covering class period vacancies in Social Studies for the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will join a team of enthusiastic secondary school educators devoted to helping all students reach their full potential.Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Social Studies 7-12 Teacher Certification is required. This is a 10-month, 7 hours per day position. Compensation is $150/Day prorated for time as Substitute, and as per MEA contract for .2 Teacher.
