RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, prepare, and deliver culturally responsive lesson plans and instructional materials facilitating active learning and engagement. Conduct ongoing student learning, progress assessments, and modify instructional methods to fit individual students' needs. Communicate with the Instructional Support Team and parents regarding student progress and areas for growth. Utilize relevant technology and instructional materials to support and differentiate instruction. Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with colleagues. Demonstrate preparation and skill in working with students from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds. Encourage family involvement in students’ education and ensure effective communication with students and families. Promote a classroom environment that is safe, welcoming, and affirming for all students. Work in a collaborative teaching environment, including co-teaching and interdisciplinary planning.
