LOCATION : Murray Avenue School HOURS : Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Aide: Assist classroom teacher Monitor the health and well-being of students in his/her care Supervise students during lunch/recess Support with serving food and preparing trays Effectively communicate with classroom teacher and administration Other duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with younger aged children Experience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges COMPENSATION : In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.
