LOCATION: Mamaroneck Avenue School HOURS: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Aide: Support of students in and out of the classroom Collaboration with other staff members on behalf of the student’s success Monitor the health and well-being of students Effectively communicate with classroom teacher and administration Assist classroom teacher as needed Supervise students during lunch/recess Other duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all ages COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.
