The Lindenhurst UFSD is anticipating a need for a leave of absence for a speech and language pathologist to provide school-age services within the district at the elementary level. The full caseload consists of approximately 40-thirty minute sessions and is expected to begin mid-March.Appropriate NYS Certification is required.General Responsibilities:Provide mandated and non-mandated speech sessions for elementary-aged studentsTrack progress related to student goals and development of student IEPs.Record and submit session notes as per Medicaid requirements.Participation in building level and CSE meetings.Ongoing communication with staff and parents.Candidates should address job-specific cover letters to Ms. Irene DeNisco, Director of Special Education and PPS.
