The Lindenhurst UFSD is seeking a school psychologist for a leave position within the elementary school setting. The leave is expected to be during the time frame of 2/1/25-4/1/25. NYS School psychologist certification required. General Responsibilities: Conduct assessments for initial eligibility and reevaluations in compliance with NYSED regulations Develop and monitor Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans Participate in 504, CSE, and building level team meetings Support students’ emotional, behavioral, and management needs Ongoing communication with staff and parents Preferred experience: IEP Direct and Google Behavioral training/experience Understanding of child development (elementary experience)Interested applicants should address job-specific cover letters to Ms. Irene DeNisco, Director of Special Education and PPS.
