Lindenhurst High School is seeking an In-School Suspension room teacher for the 2023-24 school year. A NYSED 7-12 certification is required. Some of the job responsibilities include: Establishing and enforcing rules and regulations of the in-school suspension program and creating an effective climate for learning. Assisting students assigned to the program with completing their regular classroom assignments. Creating and administering restorative practices with the students in the ISS room.Communicating appropriate behavior, school rules, and regulations to the students. Guiding and encouraging students to develop a positive attitude in the building .
