The Lindenhurst Union Free School District has an opening for a probationary Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Curriculum and Instruction as a result of an anticipated retirement. This cabinet level position will report directly to the Superintendent of Schools and oversee all aspects of Elementary Curriculum and Instruction, including, but not limited to the supervision of six elementary principals, elementary assistant principals, elementary teachers, curriculum development, pre-kindergarten program, professional development, state assessments, state reporting, etc. Elementary teaching and administration experience is preferred, as well as the appropriate district level administrative certification is required.
