We are searching for a full time or part time Speech Language Pathologist to join our Langan School team working with 5-21 year old's. ( Some flexibility on hours and days)This position is based out of our Langan School in Albany, NY. Langan School provides educational services for K-12 students from 58 districts in the Capital District region and beyond, serving students who have multiple disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. Our dedicated team works every day to make sure each student is receiving not only an education optimized for their unique needs, but also full childhood and school experience. We have three ultimate goals for our graduates: independence, community inclusion and self-determination. Responsibilities:Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, teacher assistants, school districts, and families to ensure quality, state-of-the-art, cost effective services to all studentsThe Center is a great opportunity for a new graduate looking for a Clinical Fellowship Year.Requirements:Graduate degree (Masters) in field of Speech-Language Pathology is requiredSpecialized training, license, certification, skills: NYS Licensure/Registration - Speech-Language Pathologists NYS Teaching Certificate as a TSHH or TSLD American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence requiredProfessional experience with dysphagia, augmentative alternative communication, working with individuals with developmental, physical and neurological disorders preferredAt least 1 year of job related experience requiredMust be at least 18 years old to apply for this positionMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsSalary range for this position is $67,002-$73,473 and is commensurate with experience.
