Early Childhood & Clinical Services Administrator Location: Albany, NY and Glenville, NY Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt Reports To: Deputy Executive Director of Children’s Services Salary Range: $87,131.20 - $91,769.60 Position Summary The Early Childhood & Clinical Services Administrator plays a critical leadership role within the Children’s Services Division by providing clinical direction, supervision, and program oversight to assigned clinicians and early childhood staff. This position collaborates closely with program management and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, compliant, and family-centered services for children and their families. The Administrator also provides onsite supervision for staff at the Albany Clover Patch Preschool and supports program development, workforce planning, and clinical excellence across services. Essential Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Supervision Provide direct and indirect clinical supervision to assigned therapists and clinicians Review clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance Deliver timely performance feedback, coaching, counseling, and annual evaluations Promote professional development, training, mentorship, and career advancement Support clinical onboarding and orientation for new staff Ensure adherence to clinical standards of practice, current evidence-based approaches, and regulatory requirements Partner with program leadership to ensure compliance with departmental and organizational policies Promote staff morale, engagement, and retention Participate in disciplinary action related to clinical or program matters Assign and manage clinician caseloads in collaboration with Program Directors Provide onsite supervision for staff at the Albany Clover Patch Preschool in collaboration with the Early Childhood Director Communicate with counties, school districts, and families as needed to support effective programming Be available to report to work during up to five days of school vacations Staffing & Workforce Management Prepare and process HR-related documentation including new hires, requisitions, and separations Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, and retention of qualified clinical staff Monitor staffing levels, caseloads, schedules, coverage gaps, and productivity standards Analyze productivity data and identify trends to support operational and financial stability Track uncovered service frequencies and recommend corrective actions Provide therapy services as assigned Program Development & Collaboration Provide leadership in the direction and delivery of clinical services within Children’s Services Participate in strategic planning with the Clinical Council, Medical Director, and senior leadership Stay current with best practices through professional organizations and continuing education Contribute to the development of integrated service delivery models, new programs, and staff training initiatives Represent clinical disciplines in meetings with internal teams, families, and external partners Mentorship Program Oversight Oversee clinician mentoring within the Children’s Services Division Monitor goal achievement and productivity benchmarks Prepare documentation for incentive or stipend distribution Required Qualifications Education & Licensure Graduate degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology Current New York State licensure and registration in one of the following: Occupational Therapy Physical Therapy Speech-Language Pathology (including NYS TSSLD certification, if applicable) Experience Minimum 3 years of clinical experience working with individuals with disabilities Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience preferred Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities Knowledge of clinical regulations, educational standards, and interdisciplinary team models Experience with productivity monitoring and budget support Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Work Environment & Physical Requirements Travel between center-based and community-based sites required Flexibility to work additional or varied hours as needed Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and potential verbal or physical aggression Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with assistance Ability to assist in physical transfers, emergency responses, and crisis situations Why Join Us?
