Locust Valley Central School is looking for a School Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional healthcare services for students, teachers, and faculty. This role requires a compassionate nurse who can be a partner to the school community in the delivery of quality healthcare.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform medical screening, assessment, and diagnosis of studentsAdminister immunizations and medications to studentsProvide healthcare education to students, faculty, and staffCollaborate with medical professionals and other healthcare providersFacilitate referrals to appropriate medical and community-based resourcesMaintain accurate records of medical careEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and school policiesPromote preventive health practicesWork Hours and Benefits:This position is a full-time position with work hours during school days.
