Location: John Jay High School Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026, through January 28, 2027 Qualifications: Possess a current NYS Spanish 7-12 Certification Responsibilities: Demonstrate strong skills in curriculum and instruction. Demonstrate skills to teach all levels of Spanish. Demonstrate enthusiasm for building relationships with students. Be reflective about teaching practices. Actively participates in a professional learning community (PLC), engaging in ongoing, collaborative professional learning to refine, and enhance instructional practice. Works with colleagues to analyze student data, share best practices, and implement research-based strategies that improve student outcomes. Hours: Full-Time, Temporary Salary: 0.6 of $64,276 - $152,199 as per the KLDTA contract; prorated based on the FTE amount and the start and end date of assignment.
