KLSD is looking for a thoughtful and knowledgeable educator to serve in the probationary position of Physical Education Teacher at Meadow Pond Elementary School beginning September 1, 2025. Qualifications: Possess a current NYS certification in Physical Education K-12.NYS Health Education certification is not required but preferred.Coaching will be an expectation. Responsibilities:Exhibits knowledge of NY State Standards.Fosters a positive and inclusive classroom environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of students and nurtures a sense of belonging.Actively participates in a professional learning community (PLC), engaging in ongoing, collaborative professional learning to refine and enhance instructional practice.Works with colleagues to analyze student data, share best practices, and implement research-based strategies that improve student outcomes. Hours: Full-time (10 month) Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2025 Salary: $62,699 - $141,489 as per the KLDTA contract
