Location: Increase Miller Elementary School Anticipated Start Date: On or about September 3, 2024, through September 30, 2024Hours: Full-Time, TemporarySalary and Benefits: $110 per day for the first 30 days and then $313.50 per day after 30 consecutive days.Qualifications: NYS Certification as a Special Education Teacher required.Grades K-6 experience.Skilled in developing IEPs.Familiar with reading intervention programs such as Spire, Wilson or Orton-Gillingham.Prepare lesson plans that achieve clear objectives, implements specially designed instruction, and uses appropriate program modifications and accommodations.Skilled in data-driven progress monitoring with goals that are student-specific and informed by various data points.Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws.Fosters family and guardian engagement.Collaborates and communicates with colleagues, parents and administration to best meet the needs of students.Develops clear, engaging, and relevant lesson plans that appropriately challenge students and reflect current pedagogy.Committed to student-centered and student-driven learning experiences with opportunities for student voice and choice.
