KLSD is seeking a School Psychologist (tenure track) to provide support services for students at John Jay Middle School beginning September 1, 2025 (position will be vacant on April 2, 2025 if candidate is available).Qualifications:NYS School Psychologist certification.Knowledge of therapeutic resources in Westchester County.Knowledge of various assessment tools.The successful candidate will be able to:Provide behavior intervention support.Work with colleagues to analyze student data, share best practices, and implement research-based strategies that improve student outcomes.Conduct skills assessments and develop skill acquisition treatment plans.Develop treatment plans based on the principles of ABA to support student communication, social skills, independent living skills, etc.Provide professional development for staff to support positive behavior interventions.Experience in working with alternatively assessed students with significant disabilities.Participate and contribute to a professional learning community (PLC), engage in ongoing collaborative professional learning to refine and enhance instructional practice.Chair/participate in Response to Intervention (MTSS) Committee.Serve as a chairperson for the Committee on Special Education.Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments and develop Behavioral Intervention Plans.Conduct and interpret cognitive assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations.Experience with students at upper elementary or secondary levels is preferred. Hours: Full-time (10 month) Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2025 (position will be vacant on April 2, 2025 if candidate is available). Salary: $62,699 - $141,489 as per the KLDTA contract
