Job Qualifications: Have experience in Scientific Research and/or instructing students in a secondary Science Research program.Be credentialed to work with Junior Science and Humanities Symposium or be available to take training during summer of 2023.Be able to collaborate with colleagues to prepare students for science competitions, be able to help organize science competitions and symposia to highlight current student research.Teach NYS Science Standards.Have experience with, or understanding of, project-based learning and strategies implementing evidence-based claims to students of all ability levels.Be able to implement varied instructional and assessment strategies.Demonstrate an understanding of the New York State Culturally Responsive-Sustaining Education Framework.Be reflective of teaching practices.Work collaboratively with all colleagues.
