Just Kids is looking for candidates that want to make difference in the lives of young children. Our mission focuses on the social, emotional, and creative development of young learners. We are expanding our collaborative Mental Health departments at our Nassau, Suffolk County & Far Rockaway sites. We are currently seeking a LCSW / LMSW for our Far Rockaway site, with experience working with children and families. Role: · Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best outcomes for students. · Manage a caseload including counseling, classroom consultation, parent training and behavior plans. · Support staff through coaching and modeling behavior interventions and best practice. · Deliver our social emotional curriculum to introduce early learners to social problem-solving skills.
