The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and creating a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities- Develop and implement the Creative Curriculum to maintain, improve and/or enhance the educational functioning of the student- Create engaging lesson plans that accommodate various learning styles- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning environment- Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to support student development-Demonstrates knowledge of Early Intervention Program and all associated paperwork requirements Qualifications - Valid NYS Certified Special Education Teachers Birth-2 or Equivalent. - Experience/knowledge and understanding of developmental delay - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues- Experience writing progress reports - Ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of diverse learners- Must be fun and engaging!
