Science Teacher (1.0 FTE)Island Trees Memorial Middle School seeks a committed and talented science teacher to serve our students in grades 7 and 8. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the Next Generation Science Standards, an appreciation for the specific needs of adolescent learners, and an instructional toolkit that will foster critical thinking, cross-curricular experiences, and opportunities for students to grow their skills and knowledge through active experiences. Candidates must possess a valid NYS 7-12 science teaching license. Certification in Biology is preferred.
