The successful candidate will currently hold the required certification (see below), have experience working as a full-time teacher or a leave replacement in a high school or middle school, and meet the desired qualifications outlined below. Certification: New York State Department of Education Certification in Chemistry, grades 7-12, additional science certification preferred. Desired Qualifications:Enthusiastic, innovative, and caring personalityPossess a growth mindset.Bilingual (preferred)Knowledge of Google Classroom and Infinite Campus.Works collaboratively with teachers and administrators.Uses a variety of instructional strategies to engage students and support a range of learners.Develops and uses varied assessments (exams, projects, written work, etc.) to measure student progress.Proficiency using NYSSLS required.
