The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Schools is seeking a qualified and dedicated Business teacher for .2, part-time position for the 2026-27 school year. The position starts August 26, 2026 - June 30, 2027. This role requires NYS certification in Business. The successful candidate will serve students at Woodmere Middle School. This is a unique opportunity for an educator committed to inclusive education, academic excellence, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: At Woodmere Middle School (.2 FTE): Provide instruction in Business classroom. Collaborate with special education teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction. Implement IEP goals aligned with NYS learning standards. Support students in accessing the curriculum through accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies. Monitor and document student progress; participate in CSE meetings as needed. Qualifications: Required Certifications: New York State Certification in Business Preferred Experience: Teaching experience in Business Knowledge of NYS Standards Strong collaboration and communication skills Work Schedule & Compensation: This is a .2 part-time position at Woodmere Middle School.
