Job Title: Middle School Mathematics Teacher Leave Replacement Location: Woodmere Middle SchoolWoodmere Middle School 1.0 Duration: TBD Start Date: January, 2026 End Date: TBDPosition Overview:The Hewlett-Woodmere Public School District is seeking a qualified and dedicated Mathematics teacher for a leave replacement position. This role requires NYS certification in Mathematics (Grades 7–12). The successful candidate will serve students at Woodmere Middle School.This is a unique opportunity for an educator committed to inclusive education, academic excellence, and supporting students with diverse learning needs.Key Responsibilities:At Woodmere Middle School (1.0 FTE):Provide instruction in Mathematics and/or co-taught Math classrooms.Collaborate with special education teachers to plan and deliver differentiated instruction.Implement IEP goals aligned with NYS learning standards.Support students in accessing the curriculum through accommodations, modifications, and instructional strategies.Monitor and document student progress; participate in CSE meetings as needed.
