The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of life science concepts and science standards and a proven ability to create an engaging and stimulating learning environment for diverse learners. We are looking for an educator committed to integrating technology effectively to enhance instruction, foster student collaboration, and personalize learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Instructional Excellence: Deliver high-quality biology instruction aligned with New York State Learning Standards and district-defined Best Practices. Innovative Pedagogy: Develop lesson plans that utilize project-based learning and hands-on lab activities to foster Creative Innovation and exploration Technology Integration: Use digital tools to enhance instruction and prepare students for an increasingly uncertain digital future. Diverse Learning: Differentiate instruction to personalize learning for all students, valuing diversity and inclusivity in the classroom. Assessment: Develop a shared vision of assessment that measures both content mastery and the development of the 6Cs. Collaboration: Actively participate in professional learning communities to refine skills and align practices with the district mission.
