The Harborfields Central School District is seeking dependable, positive, and student-centered Food Service Workers to support our school lunch program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assist with the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals in a school cafeteria setting. Preparing and serving food Operating kitchen equipment Maintaining clean and sanitary work areas Stocking supplies Assisting students during meal service Following all food safety procedures Supporting the daily operation of the cafeteria. Successful candidates should be reliable, flexible, able to work as part of a team, and committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for students and staff. Qualifications: Candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to follow directions, and a willingness to learn and follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Prior food service experience is preferred but not required. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform the physical tasks associated with a school food service position.
