KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Curriculum Development:Content Planning: Collaborate on thematic units for HLA and ENL, aligned with NYS standards and NYS regents.Skill Progression: Design a curriculum that builds upon skills across grade levels, ensuring transfer and reinforcement.Language Development Integration: Develop strategies to integrate language acquisition into all content areas in HLA and ENL classes.Resource Alignment: Identify and align district-approved resources (books, technology, software) with specific curriculum objectives. Curriculum Alignment Map:Develop a comprehensive curriculum alignment map that visually represents the connections between learning objectives, assessments, resources, and NYS standards across all grade levels. Additional Consideration:Differentiated instruction strategies for diverse learners.Technology integration opportunities within the curriculum.
