Highland Falls Intermediate School is seeking an anticipated NYS certified seventh and eighth grade Science teacher beginning in the 2025-2026 school year who aligns with our vision of providing our students, educators and the communities we serve with the global knowledge, cultural understanding and skills needed to compete in the global community.An ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency with using technology in the classroom, setup and administration of the NYS lab requirements, have enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to motivate students while inspiring a deep curiosity for the Sciences and the world around them; be a collaborative team player willing to work with a wide range of students, families, faculty and staff. Experience teaching other Sciences as well as an interest in extracurricular activities is a plus.Candidates should have:NYS General Science (7-12) Certification is required;Candidates with dual certification in NYS Biology (7-12) is preferred;NYS Earth Science or Life Science Certification;NYSED fingerprint clearance.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
