The Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District is seeking a long-term substitute School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year.Applicants must possess a strong background in child psychology, CSE/504 process and NYS special education law; Experience required in chairing CSE and 504 meetings; Administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive and academic assessments (examples include, but are not limited to, Wechsler Scales, Woodcock Johnson Scales, and behavioral assessments);MTSS team member, provide evidence-based interventions, and support inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of all learners;Collaborate with teachers and families to create 504 plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that help ensure success for students with disabilities;Provide counseling;Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student health and academic records;Experience working as a school psychologist;Excellent written and oral communication skills with both children and adults;Proficient use of technology to communicate, compile reports, and collect data.Requirements:New York State School Psychologist Certification is required;NYSED TEACH fingerprint clearance is required.Please submit a cover letter and resume for consideration.
