James I. O'Neill High School is seeking a NYS certified Physical Education teacher at the secondary level to serve as a long term substitute who aligns with our vision of providing our students, educators and the communities we serve with the global knowledge, cultural understanding and skills needed to compete in the global community.The successful candidate will have strong knowledge in the NYS approved Physical Education curriculum and demonstrates an understanding of effective practices which promotes a student-centered learning environment and feels comfortable integrating technology within the classroom. Responsibilities will include:Plan, organize, and instruct high school students in various aspects of Physical Education curriculum.Candidates must possess a valid NYS Physical Education Certification and NYSED fingerprint clearance.
