The District is seeking candidates for an anticipated full-time School Psychologist for the 2023-2024 school year. Applicants must possess a strong background in child psychology, CSE/504 process and NYS special education law; Experience required in chairing meetings; Administering, scoring, and interpreting cognitive and academic assessments (examples include, but are not limited to, Wechsler Scales, Woodcock Johnson Scales, and behavioral assessments);RtI/MTSS team member, provide evidence-based interventions, and support inclusive learning environments that meet the needs of all learners;Collaborate with teachers and families to create 504 plans and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that help ensure success for students with disabilities;Provide counseling;Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student health and academic records;Experience working as a school psychologist;Excellent written and oral communication skills with both children and adults;Proficient use of technology to communicate, compile reports, and collect data.Requirements:New York State School Psychologist Certification is required;NYSED TEACH fingerprint clearance is required;Spanish Speaking preferred but not required.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume for consideration through OLAS.Deadline to apply: August 25, 2023Job ID: 23-11
