4 days per week-Monday-Thursday from 12:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m. (10 hours weekly) @ $50 an hour. Working under the umbrella of a grant, a work-based learning teacher will oversee students participating in the PAES lab four days a week (two days for 11th graders and 2 days for 12th graders). This teacher will hold all grades, 7–12, or 5–9 teaching certificates and an extension from the New York State Education Department (NYSED) as a Coordinator of Work-Based Learning Programs. The teacher will be responsible for compliance with NYSED WBL guidelines, including proper documentation, student safety, and legal requirements such as workers’ compensation coverage for students. The individual will have at least two years of experience teaching at-risk secondary students.
