We’re seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist or COTA to provide educationally based therapy to preschool-aged students with developmental disabilities.Position Details:Schedule: 10-month school year + 6-week summer sessionType: Full-time, salaried (exempt)Reports to: Clinical Coordinator & Executive Director, COTA under the direction of a licensed OTWhat You’ll Do:Provide therapy per IEP goals using developmentally appropriate techniquesAdapt strategies to meet each child’s unique needsCollect and report data regularly to monitor student progressComplete annual fine motor skill assessmentsCollaborate with teachers, specialists, and familiesEnsure a safe, engaging classroom environmentMaintain compliance with NYS education and therapy standardsWhat You’ll Need:Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or Associate’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Valid New York State License in Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy AssistantStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skillsPassion for working with young children in a school-based settingWhy Helping Hands?
