Helping Hands School is a special education preschool program located in Clifton Park, New York. We are dedicated to providing an enriching and challenging environment where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, emotionally and socially.Helping Hands is currently seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant or Teacher Aide to join our supportive school community. The TA works under the supervision of a certified special education teacher to support students in the classroom. Previous experience working in a preschool setting is preferred however individuals with a genuine desire to work with young children will be considered. Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is a plus. This is a full-time, 35 hour per week position with a school calendar (plus an optional 6 week summer program).
