Helping Hands School is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide IEP services in a dynamic special education preschool setting. The ideal candidate has experience working with preschool-aged children and delivering direct therapy services. Helping Hands provides programming from September to June, with a 6 week summer program.Helping Hands School is a vibrant special education preschool program dedicated to excellence in educating and supporting young children with special needs. We take pride in our highly skilled, compassionate staff and their commitment to helping each child thrive.Position Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver therapy services in alignment with students’ Individualized Education Plans and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster an engaging, supportive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement developmentally appropriate therapy activities to meet IEP goals and service mandates (e.g., frequency, duration).Adapt therapeutic techniques and provide individualized supports based on student needs.Utilize positive behavioral supports to promote success in therapy sessions.Collect and maintain accurate, timely data and documentation.Build strong partnerships with families by sharing progress updates and responding to concerns with professionalism and empathy.RequirementsCCC-SLP or TSLD/TSHH (CFY candidates welcome to apply).
