Job Responsibilities (Speech Teacher): The Speech Teacher/Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) conducts 30 minute individual and group speech session per student IEP. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) manages schedule to maximize IEP compliance (i.e., see all students on caseload per schedule). The SLP attends meetings with parents, classroom teachers, and school district representatives. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) writes quarterly progress notes that report on progress toward IEP objectives. The Speech Language Pathologist writes progress notes for case reviews and special meetings. Measure learning continuously and graph data daily. Complete PSI modules. Attend biweekly staff meetings.
