Our educational, vocational and life skills programs are only a few of the programs available. We also offer parent training, recreational activities and crisis intervention. Responsibilities: Directly responsible to specific group assignments. Responsible for implementation of daily and weekly programs as assigned by NYSED certified teacher for each student in the assigned group. Assist in any clerical work (i.e., daily attendance, requisitions, trip lists, graphing data). Responsible for carrying out daily schedules as developed and planned. Responsible for participating in in-service training, CPR, and behavior analysis training programs and completing one book/quiz per month. Instruct students in daily proper hygiene habits. Assists in accompanying students to the medical office and off-grounds medical appointments or other services as needed. General Responsibilities: Participates in all meal programs. Participates in training sessions and in-service meetings. Ensures that the program areas are kept in order. Participates in Activities of Daily Living. Assumes additional responsibilities when assigned to maintain the quality of care for all individuals. Follows established HCDS policies and procedures. Assumes additional responsibilities as stated in the attached training program. Participates in all recreation programs. Assures the safety and welfare of all individuals. Assumes additional responsibilities when assigned.
