SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS ASSISTANT The Haldane Central School District seeking a highly organized and collaborative individual to serve as a School Transportation Operations Assistant. This position plays a vital role in supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the district’s student transportation system. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) coordinating bus routes and schedules, dispatching drivers and vehicles, maintaining communication with transportation staff, supervising bus drivers, assisting with emergency response and road service coordination, and supporting compliance with transportation regulations and district procedures. The successful candidate will work closely with administrators, drivers, aides, parents, and community agencies to ensure high-quality, safe transportation services for Haldane students. Candidates should possess strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in transportation dispatching, school transportation, emergency services, or related fields is preferred.
