The Haldane Central School District is seeking qualified applicants for a special education probationary teaching position in the elementary school. The position is expected to be in a fifth grade co-teach classroom(s), but roles may change based upon student need, with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2023. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to creating a supportive, flexible learning environment where students with diverse learning styles and needs can thrive. Experience with children on the Autistic Spectrum, as well as with inclusion strategies and with behavioral principles, is preferred. Appropriate New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities is required.The Haldane Central School District is a close-knit school community located in Cold Spring, NY.
