The Haldane Central School District is seeking qualified applicants for a special education tutoring position for a rising 7th grade Haldane Middle School student for the Extended School Year (ESY) program, which is expected to run from 07/01/2025 to 08/11/2025. The student requires support across sixth-grade content areas as the student was not able to successfully pass several classes. The successful candidate will have experience working with students with learning disabilities as well as with students who require use of strategies, such as incentives, structure, scaffolding, and a multisensory approach, to be successful in accessing the curriculum. Appropriate New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Disabilities is required. Compensation will be at a rate of 1/200th of the contractual rate for current HCSD employees.The Haldane Central School District is committed to fostering an inclusive environment designed to serve all students.
