The Haldane Central School District, located in Cold Spring, New York, is seeking to hire a Behaviorist (either a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, NYS Certified School Psychologist or a NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst) for a leave replacement position. The position is expected to begin in October of 2023 and end likely in January of 2024.The ideal candidate should be prepared to support students and educators from grades K - 12, but will primarily be working with elementary school students, their families, and teachers. The role will require the ability to conduct FBAs, to utilize behavioral data to support decision making, to design behavioral and learning intervention plans, to provide behavioral consultation to support the educators, to run parent training sessions and to respond with care and expertise when a student is in crisis and in need of de-escalation.
