The Haldane Central School District is seeking applicants for a leave replacement position as a School Psychologist or School Counselor to start as soon as possible and to continue until June 23rd, 2023. Five days a week until June 23 is preferred, but will consider part time/three days as well. This position requires a New York State or National (NASP) Certification as a School Psychologist or appropriate School Counselor Certification. The candidate will be responsible for supporting all grades (pre-K through 12th grade) within the district following the NASP Practice Model or the New York State Social Emotional Learning Benchmarks.The ideal candidate will have experience meeting the learning, social-emotional, mental and behavioral health needs of students. This includes, but is not limited to consulting with school-based teams, families and outside resources, providing counseling services, developing interventions and contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment.If interested, cover letters may be addressed to Dr. Regina Kaishian, Director of Pupil Personnel Services.
