The Haldane Central School District, located in Cold Spring, New York, is seeking to hire a Speech and Language Pathologist to work with a student on home instruction during the summer and on an as needed basis in the Fall. This position requires teacher certification in the State of New York (TSHH/TSSLD); CCC SLP preferred. The services would begin as soon as possible with an estimated time of 2-5 hours weekly. The pathologist will have some flexibility to schedule individual and collaborative sessions based upon the students’ IEPs, and the student’s schedule, and availability.The ideal candidate must have a strong skill set working with children with varying strengths and abilities and with collaborating with colleagues. The SLP should have experience working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum as well as with the implementation of AAC-Augmentative and alternative communication strategies.
