The Haldane Central School District, located in Cold Spring, New York, is seeking to hire a full-time probationary Speech and Language Pathologist to work with students in grades K - 12. This position requires teacher certification in the State of New York (TSHH/TSSLD); CCC SLP preferred. The ideal candidate must have a strong skill set working with neurotypical and neurodivergent children. The SLP should have experience working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum, as well as children with Apraxia/Dyspraxia of speech, motor planning disorders, and sensory integration needs. The SLP should have experience (or a willingness to learn) with the implementation of AAC-Augmentative and alternative communication devices, Pecs-Picture Exchange Communication System, and communication apps such as Proloquo, Lamp and Touch Chat.
