The Haldane Central School District is seeking qualified applicants for its next Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Dean of Students. The successful candidate will possess the following skills/experience:A strong vision for the intersection of athletics and academics in a school communityThe ability to engage stakeholders around a shared visionAn understanding of best practices within the physical education and health program(s)Strong organizational and interpersonal skillsSuccessful teaching and coaching experienceKnowledge of NYSPHSAA and section-level policies and proceduresAn understanding of Haldane’s Strategic Coherence Plan, and how “The Haldane Essentials” can be interwoven into athletics, physical education, and the health curriculumThe Haldane Central School District is a close-knit school community located in Cold Spring, NY. The District serves approximately 800 students on one K-12 campus. The Director of Athletics, Physical Education, Health and Dean of Students reports to the Superintendent of Schools. A competitive salary will be offered that is commensurate with experience.
