The Haldane Central School District seeks a dynamic leader to serve as its Director of Pupil Personnel Services. The Director of Pupil Personnel Services is a member of the District Leadership Team and works collaboratively with building leadership and the Superintendent of Schools. The Director of Pupil Personnel Services will be responsible for the oversight of the delivery of instruction for exceptional learners, including students with disabilities. Additionally, this individual will serve as the Chairperson of the Committees on Special Education/Preschool Special Education. Interested applicants should be well-versed in Federal and State Special Education law & policy, possess a deep understanding of childhood development and social-emotional learning, and have exceptional knowledge of instructional practices to deliver highly effective special education and academic intervention services, and a strong desire to grow professionally and a commitment to continuous improvement. NYS School District Leader (SDL) and/or NYS School District Administrator (SDA) certification is required. This is a 12-month, tenured track cabinet-level position with regionally competitive salary based upon experience.
