Woodlands Middle High School Fall Athletics 2026-2027 School YearVarsity Football Head Coach Job description: The Greenburgh Central School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head Varsity Football Coach to lead and develop our Football program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, inclusive and competitive team environment while promoting sportsmanship, skill development, and personal growth for all student-athletes.Coach responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Organizing and leading team practices six days a week, including during school breaks.Planning and implementing off-season training and development opportunities.Attending all required district, league, and section meetings.Upholding district athletic policies and procedures.All Varsity, Assistant Varsity, and Modified coaches work collaboratively to support the overall success of the program. This includes assisting at games and competitions, scouting, scheduling, attending coaches' meetings, conducting film review, and other duties as assigned to ensure alignment and consistency across all levels of the program.Candidates with prior coaching experience or collegiate-level playing experience are preferred. Candidates must meet New York State Education Department coaching certification requirements, or be willing to complete the required workshops (Child Abuse, Violence Prevention, DASA) and coursework and certifications (including CPR/AED-First Aid) prior to the start of the season.The Fall 2026 season begins on August 17, 2026Bilingual/Multilingual encouraged to applyRolling application period until position is filled
