Job Description: Guide students toward gaining essential knowledge and skills through developing a differentiated and personalized learning plan and instructional environment. Qualifications: New York State Certification in Special Education; All Grades, preferred Fingerprinting clearance required Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Meet and teach assigned classes and caseload Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supports all students Maintain accurate and complete records to track the progress of individual students Communicate with parents regarding the progress of individual students Use assessment tools to guide instruction Work with students with disabilities in the classroom and utilize IEP goals in planning instructional practices Ability to differentiate instruction and plan collaboratively with other teachers Assist students and teaching staff in implementing students' IEP's including academic goals and behavior management plans Broad knowledge of assessments and development of individualized programs Strive by instruction and action to implement the district’s philosophy of education, instructional goals and objectives Complete other duties as assigned Deadline : July 6, 2026 Effective : 2026-2027 School Year Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
