ANTICIPATED VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT DEAN OF STUDENTS (10-MONTH) PROBATIONARY Salary: As Per Contract Glen Cove City School District is committed to recruit and hire the most qualified staff members who are dedicated to the success of all students and the Glen Cove City community. Job Description: Assist administration and staff in providing a safe, engaging, and successful instructional experience for students in accordance with district policies. Qualifications: New York State Certification Preferred: Minimum of three years of teaching or PPS experience Fingerprinting clearance required Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to): Develop professional learning for various staff to support conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies Assist the school administration and staff in the positive resolution of discipline issues and to support the implementation of identified interventions Work with building administration in the development, modification, maintenance, and implementation of attendance policy and building protocols Provide support in ensuring that students attend all classes on a regular basis Work with school administration to facilitate parent interaction & engagement Ensure that breakfast and lunch programs are adequately supervised Other duties as required and assigned by the building principal or their designee Location : Glen Cove High School Application Instructions: Qualified candidates should apply via OLAS with a resume and letter of interest to Andrew DiNapoli, before the deadline.
