DEAN OF STUDENTS (10 months)Location: High SchoolEffective: September 1, 2023Qualifications:The Dean of Students is responsible for supporting, building and fostering a positive school culture that has the best interest of students in mind. The Dean of Students helps to create protocols, processes, and awareness amongst all members of the school community that reflect best practices in the field of social and emotional well-being in schools. The Dean of Students also supports students attending to their classes on a regular basis.Essential DutiesKey duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:• Developing professional learning for various staff to support in conflict resolution and de-escalation strategies• Assisting the school administration and staff in the positive resolution of discipline issues and in maintaining accurate records• Working with school administration to facilitate parent interaction & engagement• Ensuring that breakfast and lunch programs are adequately supervised• Providing support in ensuring that students attend to all their classes on a regular basisSalary: As per contract
